  • Brisbane to Broome via Gibb River return via Tanami Desert

Leaving Brisvegas late June and return late July. This is the second half of our trip we planned last year before piston number 4 decided to hole itself.

Big trip for 4 weeks but should be great. Many sights to see and places to go. The Gibb has many days or weeks of sights, then off to the horizontal falls before going into Broome. Quick visit to the Bungles before the return leg via the Tanami Desert road to Alice Springs. Plenty - Donahue Hwy then all bitumen for the trip home.

The more non blacktop roads the better.

Anyone going keep an eye out for our 120 with camper and brothers 150 with trailer. Will have UHF on 10 and Codan on scan.

    Rusty.

Sometimes i wake up Grumpy, most times i leave her sleep.

Just as well you're not doing it now - they're all under water. 400mm yesterday at Cape Leveque.

Typo? No. (Which part you referring too?). 400mm correct. Gibb is presently closed Derby through to Wyndham. Kalumburu Rd closed. Tanami closed, Duncan Hwy, Cape Leveque Rd all closed.

I don't see the problem, snorkels sit higher than 400mm..... Just go i say and ring the Broome police if you need assistance.

Wow, you will need a boat not a 4WD there.

I've got a pool in my backyard now. It wasn't there 3 or 4 days ago. The neighbours have them too. The frogs are loving it.
