Brisbane to Broome via Gibb River return via Tanami Desert

Days 20-on
Left Mitchel Falls camp around 8 am, just early enough to be in front of the slow pack camped across from us.
Next couple of days we went to several gorges and stations on the eastern end of the Gibb but i could do without the tourist based stations and keep the bush camping.
Off to Kununurra to restock food and fuel, meet up with my brother in his now fixed 150 and off to Halls Creek for the run down Tanami. Caroline's pool and China wall then off to Wolfe Creek. The camp area is basic but fair other than idiots who think we just love loud music and fires in total fireban areas. Launched the drone again today and the footage over the crater is spectacular.
Along here we came across a distressing scene of a semi fully engulfed in fire. No chance of putting it out so it was left to burn to the ground.
Camped beside the Newmont mine and had a campfire cooked casserole for dinner.

Alice Springs in the morning for fuel then off to the Sandover Hwy to Mt Isa.

Day something (Lost track of time).
Alice to Mt Isa. Camped on the Sandover River after not being able to find anyware to camp without cattle burrs on the ground. Really cold night -1.9 but the campfire helped.

These have done Tassie, Bungles, Gibb, Mitchell Plateau, Tanami, Sandover.

This has been a trip to remember for the good and bad things that happened. Minor issues plus the brothers engine blowup, fabulous scenery, far away places, rough roads, smooth roads, Horizontal Falls, Mitchell Falls plus all the things on Gibb River. Followed by the Tanami Desert and Sandover roads made this a trip to be remembered. We traveled close to 10500km with only the alternator clutch bearing failure.
Next trip in the planning, just not sure where to next. Would like to finish from Broome to Perth as its the only piece of coast we have not seen.
