    SEQ - Daytrip to City View 4WD Park - Tomorrow the 10th Jan

    We're doing a family trip to CityView 4WD park tomorrow. Anyone else interested in joining us? It'll be my wife and our 2 boys, 6 and 10yo. We won't be doing any of the hard tracks (no lift) but just a day out doors having some family fun.
    Always interested in meeting new PP's.
    2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.
    Wish list in order I'll get them: Sliders, 2" lift, E-locker, Winch bar with winch.

    That'll be fun! with the recent rain some of the tracks can be "interesting"...


    Having said that, some of the areas do dry out quite quickly. I think it was pretty dry last time you were up there?

      Dan...Although I've since acquired a performance chip and AJ120 sliders (no more bust OE sidesteps there for me), since our last outing unfortunately I cannot make it this time. I always monitor this thread to see if peeps are going places..as I get lost going to the shops..:Lol! The place should be greener this time but it's always hot over there???

                  Well we did out trip today. The wife didn't come in the end due to illness but dad did in his GU Patrol. He'd never taken it bush before, only ever beach driving so this was an experience for him.
                  The tracks were heaps rutted out/washed away more than I thought. Track 25 was a lot worse but the mighty Prado made it first go. We basically did the left side first, had lunch on the Weber on the top of track 1 then followed that across to the other side. They have recently purchased the triangle of land between the 2 sides so now you can drive straight through (track 17 as an fyi).
                  Pics and Youtube vids to come (had the dashcam going the whole time). The dashcam doesn't do the track and difficulty any justice though. There were some narly sections for the ol' soccer mum bus I never had to take 2 goes at anything though. Even dad had to have a 2nd attempt at 1 or 2 rock sections.
                  It was a great day out. I've already cleaned the outside of the car so it's good as new for tomorrow.

                    It was very rocky, very rutted but a heap of fun and you had to use ya correct lines on several tracks to get it right or risk rolling (or giving yourself a heart attack anyway)

                    I have vids of the entrance track, Track 25 and Track 4. I'll make more time permitting of the tracks on the way down the mountain.
