  • Wedge to Jurien Bay coastal tracks

We are going to give these a crack next weekend on the 17th and 18th of January.
I've wanted to for a while but never got around to it. Great stretch of coast with beautiful water for the kids to swim in so will probably stop quite a few times.
Between Cervantes and Jurien there is the Hill river which should be passable this time of year.
Gonna head off Saturday morning and see how far we get, then chuck the swags out and have a sneaky camp and continue on in the morning. Maybe even head up to North Head and Sandy Cape for a swim after Jurien. Great beaches there too.
If anyone is keen for an adventure

Again would be very keen but no Prado as of yet. It's on a boat so hopefully delivered around long weekend!

Might be in on this, have to check with the missus first. Might have to limit it to a day trip at this stage, should be easy enough to break off at the end of day 1, yeah?

Not sure. Haven't been there. Can't see Wedge to Grey taking too long but that might be ok for you

Just been informed that I have prior commitments, dangit!

One day the stars will align and I'll get to meet some of the Perth crew.

You wont have any issues with Hill River. Been up that way at all times of the year and have not yet seen the river flowing into the ocean. Must do at some stage.
