waiting for you to organise it?!
    As mentioned on another thread..............

Is anybody interested in a run out through the goldfields this coming Anzac day long weekend. I know it's short notice, but if people are interested I'd happily organise something.

    Here's one idea.
    - Friday, Gt eastern Hwy to Coolgardie, then down via Burra Rock to Cave Hill.
    - Saturday, From Cave Hill out to Victoria Rock Rd, down via Lake Johnston to somewhere near Maggie Hayes Hill
    - Sunday, Hyden to Norseman rd, back to Hyden, Wave rock and on back to home.

Mainly goldfields woodlands tracks, some may be tight and scratchy. Bush camping (ie: zero facilities, bring your own everything). Warm days, cool nights (hopefully).........

Let me know if anybody is interested.

We aren't up for a trip of that size ATM. Sorry. Look forward to photos though!

No problems Matt - With the short notice I didn't think many would reply.
I might just leave it for another time, with some more notice for people, etc.

As a matter of interest, would WA people be interested in a goldfields trip (not the holland track) later in the year. I can't organise anything during June-August as I'll be doing a bit of travelling/4wding through the kimberley, top end, north qld and back through the red centre during that time.

Anyhow, just thought I'd see if this is the sort of trip people think they might like sometime, or if people can only manage short day trips due to other commitments, etc.

I'd be keen for a gold fields trip later in the year.

Yep would love to get away more often, we just need notice. In between kids school and my place of employment roster its hard to get away.
I would love to have another look around higginsville which is out of kal. as an apprentice we did a bit of looking around and there is some old ruins i would like to find again.

              Cheers

                Thanks for the feedback,

I'll organise something out that way when I get back to Perth.
