Mate if something does go wrong I would like to think between the group we could fix most things unless it's major, then we would get the car to a point it could be recovered. I certainly was more worried about breaking down in the Simpson.

I have no Drama with people taking a trailer I did last time. Please if you do intend to take a trailer make certain that it is a genuine off road trailer or something like this could happen .
We helped this guy lift his trailer onto the back of a truck.

I have updated the list and hope I included everyone that is a definite and maybe.

We have just come back from a great 3 month summer in Tassie and have decided that we will upgrade our position from possible to probable.
Still have some work to do on the car (bags, breathers and snorkel) but we will be ready to go.
We will probably pick you up in Cairns.
How many are going at this stage and is the list available for viewing?
Are you still looking at the original dates?

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum but I've been following this thread for a while.
I am keen to tag along on this one , but, I will be doing it in a Hilux, it is still a Toyota and is a D4D so I suppose it is close to a Prado .
Located in country Vic, but would also probably touch base with you in Cairns.
Just need to get the leave form in.
Main reason for the trip is to see the Cape and do some fishing. Hope there are some other fisho's here.

Today is 10th anniversary of cyclone Larry which lashed FNQ. We were up there about 6 weeks later on our way to the Cape.

Might get to see you guy's up there. We are leaving Adelaide next Tuesday and taking our time to get up there so will be there in June too. I may be in a triton but it will stand out so if you see us come say hi. I will keep an eye out for a heap of prados and a hilux

Yes Mick the dates on the first post, thats what we are planing on. In between may change a little but I will figure out a plan.
Im trying to put the FrenchMan Track in and Chilli Beach as we didn't do that last time.
The list is also on the fist post.

You want be the only one that isn't in a Prado so get your leave form in and hopefully see you in Cairns.

Ok I have called Lions Den Hotel and Loyalty Beach they would like me to call later on when the numbers are confirmed. Its mainly to do with anyone that may want a powered site or hut, room. If you would really like to stay at the Eliot Falls Campground that needs to be booked. I have checked not may campsites left for that time of year.

If you would like to stay at Coconut Resort on the Thursday, Friday night before we take off I would get in a Book. Great place for kids they have a water slide onsite.

Could everyone please pm me with how many people are going in your car and any kids. ( Ages, Boy, Girl ).

Coconut booked! 6 cabins left still.

If we need to book anything else please advise, happy to book huts or rooms, happy glampers!

I would be keep as I am moving to Cairns for work, but I could be anywhere in June. I will continue to follow the progress
