  • Coffs Harbour Next Weekend

Hi guys, im after some info on tracks to tackle around the Mt Coramba area in Coffs for next weekend. Been hoping to get down there for a while, ive read up on Gumboot's trip report of the area and have commando, rover, morbid and army tracks in mind. Any others to must see?

I have a 2in lift, muddies plus a winch, no lockers but im not frightened to try some hard stuff. Using this as abit of a shake down for a Vic high country trip early next year.

It will be a weekend trip staying in town.

watched that one last week too.
I cant beleave how little damage was done to the dirty 30 with that rollover.

id love to head down and spend some time on those tracks at a later date.

Well ive been to Coffs 100's of times for karting, hobbies, holidays but never for a 4wd weekend. WOW

Attached are a few pics i took along the way, the wife took heaps more. I think she just wanted to get out of the car as some of the tracks are extreme. Today we went straight from the forest sky pier across the road and into rover trail. Here we met a guy while i was airing down and his two young boys in a Parthfinder with hwy tires no lift and 40psi, i jumped in and scratched up a steep rutted off camber hill to see him having a go in the mirror. We never saw them again. Was awesome, have already made plans to head down there again soon.

Yeah it was brilliant. Put on the bucket list for sure.

Town is so close too, i had a drama on Saturday where i spat a spark plug. It broke the shielding on the plug lead which made the plug earth out on the cylinder head. Running rough, we went into super cheap and an hour later back climbing hills again.
