So, last weekend, I took my young bloke for a weekend away with a mate, his son and some of his mates. All from my a soccer team I used to coach.
Anyway, with the 150 and two Patrol's, we headed out down south to Lithgow via Windsor.
We hit Zig Zag around 8:30am and dropped the tires...
We then proceeded to the Lost City, but took a wrong turn and ended up on this very rutted track, the two Patrols did it with easy, the Prado, however, struggled and started to slip sidewards into a car flipping rut.. so a strap was hooked to the new Road Safe points and and a slow drag up the hill.
We did the Spanish Steps, Baal Bone gap, both ways and a few other challenging tracks. We camped at Capertee, down by the Turon River. Great spot.
Some GoPro footage on my you tube channel..

The Patrol with P plates has lift, 35" MT's, new turbo and an Eaton locker in the front and is a very capable vehicle. The other Patrol has a 2" lift and a very experienced driver..
