Oh, I would have loved to have been there for this one. As it is, it's yours trulys birthday that day, so I will be spending it with the family.

All the same, I do have some work on the Prado planned. I am visiting my folks and will be installing the radiator protector plate. That would have been good for a Tech Day, though Dad is keen to help out too.

I hope to catch up with you blokes for a future event.

        Have a great day guys!

        LFaR.

Thanks Masso for hosting the day and giving me plenty of insight in the your camper trailer setup, it probably saved me about 4-5 grand i reckon, sorry i had to leave early but plenty happening at the moment.
And a ride in the ARb suspended machine.

Pete, thanks for the wiper Jet upgrade(now in the club) and the few other little bits.

Hope you had a good afternoon and it was good to catch up with some of you guys and put names to faces.

Hi guys, here are a few pics of the tech day at Masso's place. IUnfortunately I was delayed in attending the tech day due to contractors at home. Anyway I arrived there at around lunch time but most of the work had already been done.

Here are some pics to lighten the load.

Here is the guys working on their Prado stories.

Trailer socket rewire and general tidying

Pic of only some of the Prados

Install of one of the Hilux washer jets. Check out the original jet on the passenger side compared to the drivers side. Installed in record time by PML120R (2.5 minutes) - he was on fire.

                    Still no comparison

SSSHHHH be very very quiet were huntin wabbits.

                      Nice work Gordon,

Dosn`t matter what side of the country it is but a mass of Prado`s being worked on at one time looks great.

That's a beautiful site; all those Prados. Masso's place looks to be the ideal location for the Tech Day. Wow, what a garage... I don't even have a shed!

Terriffic pics of the wiper jets... it really shows it off niclely. One continues to wonder why Toyota even bother with the standard Prado jets. Egad, 2.5 minutes!! It would have taken longer for me to take the pics.

                        Great job guys.

Hopefully there are pics of some of the other work that was planned? Or was this more social than work-related. Given one job took 2.5 minutes, what happened to all those other minutes???

                        LFaR.

                          hmm what happened,

there was at least 3 sets of washers put in
                          some sensors checked
i moved my antenna's down to the bar (well did most of it anyway one of those pics above is me pulling the wiring through into the passenger footwell and taping it up to be finished another day)
there was a turbo timer installed
                          a trailer plug re-wired
                          a barbieq had
                          some yarns told
then i left but some more serious works had started on peter's rig.

It looks as though it turned out to be a great day, with lots of information and fiddling. We were considering coming along, but that morning I finished 4 x 12 hour night shifts and was absolutely pooped - I couldn't consider getting off the couch for any reason, not even M&M's!

My pleasure to host the day fellas... was really good fun.. and i guess now we have got the idea of a Tech Day... the next one should be a doozy. More mods, more snags, more beers, more yarns. Better make sure we have our mentor there tho.. Peter and his handy "trim removal tool" ..essential kit, but even more essential, the bloke on the end of it that has all the skills! thanks Pete! Catch you all on the next trip!
