That was me. I've done bigger crossings before, just keep the car moving so it maintains an air pocket behind the grill. It was deeper going back the other way. A great weekend & good to see stock cars & others all completing the track & challenges. Well done to all involved.

WOW, all I can say is what a fantastic weekend.
Thanks to everyone for making us all feel so welcome, also thanks for all those great tips and advice, that was pricless stuff.....I think I'm addicted!
Just spent two hours cleaning the car, but it was well worth it.
Heres a few pics:
Now THIS is off roading!
Put me down for a snorkel......I'm missing the fun
A more relaxing moment
My car before she got too dirty
You WA folks sure put on a great trip, love looking at the pics.
We don't have the water crossings like you guys have, heck we have only had 18 ml of rain this year and that was last weekend.
However our numbers are starting to grow here so maybe we can start to follow suit with great trips as well.

As Russ mentioned Icy Creek lived up to its name on Friday night but was a bit kinder to us on Saturday.
Ive added just a few pics as the others have covered the trip very well.

Most people chose this option

Some more water crossings and this little black duck wasn't going in without a snorkel
Day 2 canoeing may have been more appropriate
