Damn, I wish I had have gone with you guys. I got to the turn off at Mareeba about 10.45 and hit Danbulla Road about 12.00. It was a scenic but easy track, Kauri Creek Road is a bit tighter and rougher.

We had lunch at the hang gliding lookout above the Gillies and was home by 2.30.

Where's 7 Hills? Looks like an excellent track.

2 flat tyres in one day, that's the last time I drive into Naval Stores.

Thanks to all the guys who turned out for a great day. The seven hills excursion was a blast, paticularly seeing Joey's back right rear a foot off the deck and his whole rig in iminent danger of turning turtle. A short winch restored his equalibrium. Will post photos ASAP.

            Cheers
            Kev

PS Joey, I put a scratch on it - same place as yours.

Awesome stuff you blokes! 8) I would have loved to be there with you guys. I just got back from the cape trip yesterday and I'm pleased to say it was a great trip and the Prado did it all including gunshot with ease.

Looking forward to the next outing.

                    Cheers,

Well done Guys, great pics, well done Crammy, Gee Gunshot looks half respectable in that shot, I gave it a miss last time many years ago as it was about 20foot deep straight down and had a Troopy nose first into the mud at the bottom, poor bugger.
                                Had a weekend of pruning :x :x :x
