08-09 June Ayres Rock Trip

Just a short entry to say we had a nice trip down to the Rock and back on the weekend. For the first time in many years we decided to do a Sunset viewing of the Rock along with half of Australia it seemed as there were so many people there.

Yesterday we did a short climb just to see the surrounding countryside but the days of climbing to the top have gone for us. To old to do that kind of thing now, besides been there and done that many times over the years.

Anyway here is a panorama shot of the Rock at sunset:



And a couple of the bottom part of the climb, they put the chains on the easy parts.

Thnaks everyone, youknow what would make a great photo is if a good portion of the sunset viewing area was filled with Prados all displaying their PradoPoint stickers with Ayres Rock in the background. Might have to look at doing that atthe GTG.
