Is the Dargo General Store still there?

Last time I visited was around 1975. They had some original Brylcreem tins on the shelves.

Be interested to see photos of the town and the roads. It was basically deserted and rough dirt when we were there.

And still had the hair to use the Brylcreem on back in 75?

Update - if I manage with the workload it'll only be me coming or me + daughter we'll make it a family thing once things warm up around here by the looks of things??

That's the pub ####, the store is across the road. It was still there at the GTG, have not been back there since.

It was still there a few weeks ago - we arrived 10mins too late for lunch at the pub so went there instead.

They were quite friendly and had a range of stuff for sale.

We asked about the condition of Billy Goats and the lady made it sound really scary (nowhere to stop once you start, people have rolled end-over-end down it, massive rock step at the top where you have to launch your car) though she did it admit it was 4 years or so since she'd been there. The actual track was a bit of an anti-climax after that - steep to be sure but lots of places to stop and not all that hard.

Why would you nominate UHF 50 as channel when very few would have a new 80 channel radio?

You are smarter than me, 2 have a 40 channel.
So we changed to 10.

There was at least 1 with a grommet missing & wet carpet.
Most were fine, it was deep, but a quick dip.
I'm not sure how much more depth you can take before the water takes weight from the wheels too much.
I felt some scrabbling in places.
