  • Mt Mee - 22nd June 2008

    Morning all,

after seeing the nice muddy pics from Thursday, have a few mates going for some fun on Sunday. Will basically be doing the Dirty Weekends track from Dayboro up.

Will be meeting at the Dayboro bakey at 8am for those keen.

Currently have 2 x 120 series and an 60 series cruiser going.

Hope to see some of you there!

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

If the rain keeps up then I'd be watching out for Jacky Ck Rd and A break sections otherwise with care you should be fine.

Cars still muddy from Thursday... should join you  but unfortunately it's already a busy weekend

    Have fun and play safe...
    Cheers, Leon

Howdy all, there were only three cars as mentioned (2x120 and a 60series LC). Met at bakery at 8am and followed the Dirty Weekends track to the Gantry.

Most of the mud from the pics from the Thursday trip had dried up, so going was easier than expected, a little bit of mud on some river crossings, but in the end a nice trip...... now I know where it joins from the Gantry.

Next time will go up after a nice heap of rain to have fun at A Break. Got some pics, nothing too flash though - will put up tonight.

Played around on some side tracks, and got to Gantry around 11:30 and then headed home...... a good day EXCEPT for the bloody cops that pinged me for going 73 down a hill in a 60 zone on Samford Rd.... grrrrrrrr..... if $$$ diesel wasn't enough!!!

                  Nice shots there Nick

Looks like just enough water left to keep the dust at bay.
The steeeeep hill and the 2nd pics in the first series... that's the same hill isn't it?? Amazing the difference camera position can make to the feel of an image.
                  Cheers, Leon

probably one of the best shots i've seen that even comes close to showing how long and steep that hill is!
