  • Fraser Island - October - 24 - 27th

    Howdy,

I know a LOOOONG way off, but a few of us are heading up to Fraser Island Friday morning (24th) and leaving Monday (27th).

Will beach camp somewhere between Catherdral beach and Eurong and basically fish, sandboard, swim, 4wd and of course drink (responsibly!)!!!

Currently there are 3 cars going.... details to follow.

I know a LOOONG lead time, but need to plan the days off this early!

    Thanks.

For those planning on tagging along to this trip but have never driven on sand. This link contains information on sand driving.

We're heading up there late July, so won't be going back in October. Looks like it's popular this year!

              Hi Mate

I got back from Fraser about 3 weeks ago, best trip ever, we stayed all over the island and found the best fishing and camping was up at Waddy Point - the gutter in from on the sand blow near the point went off after sun set, plus the camp ground you have a fire to cook the fish.....
