Marty reckons he's gonna get there .... in the Smurf ..... and he's got a mate coming along in a Hilux. The mate wants to buy a Prado :lol:
This way he gets to see more Prados than in a car yard ... and he gets to see them in the wild :lol: :lol: :lol:

Well what an eventful Day....it was just great to catchup with everyone again and also to meet some new faces.
I would just like to say a huge thanks to everyone that gave me hand removing the busted Shockie..........and also to the people that gave moral support and took all the pics............Chippy.
We hope that you all had a good day and that you had some more fun in that bowl. We slowly drove back to the road with no further problems .
I hope that everyone got home safe and sound as we could see a big fire south of woodridge.
Thanks once again and am looking forward to the Pic's ...chippy.

It was great to meet the new faces .... Andrew, Leigh, Lawrie, Irish and Leo .... and to catch up with the old faces again.
We had 15 cars in total ... and had a great time ..... perfect weather ... awesome company ... and a whole lot of fun.
Thanks to all for helping to make the day so successful.

looks like another top day chippy, 15 prados, thats a bloody top turnout, what happend with the bent shock, done a good job on that 1. cheers samohad an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.Comment

We had just negotiated a bumpy bit of the track when Parksy called up that he had a funny clunking noise coming from the rear ... and he was pulling over to check it.
It looks like the shock had reached full extension, jammed up somehow, and then tried to compress ... and didn't quite make it.
The shock was taken out and a piece of strap was used as a spring retainer ... so the spring didn't drop out at full droop ... and Parksy was able to continue on for the rest of the day ..... even if it was slightly bouncy.
