SEQ - Bribie Island Day Trip on Sunday 24 Aug
Wengnuts,
We will be following Pradogang up and hope to get to the BP at 7am. If there's a Macca's at the BP then that may well be the carrot to get my teenage son out of bed early!
If we're running a bit late we'll meet up at the Bongaree Park. See you there!!2016 200 Series GXL, Turbo Diesel, ARB BB, GME3520 UHF

Looking forward to the trip. I notice low tide is approx 8.18am and high tide 3.12pm, do you have a rough timetable for the day worked out?

btw, some of us are going to stop at one of the lagoons for lunch and a swim for the kids. So can I suggest you bring your tarps, awning or gazebo, if you have one for some shade..

It was bloody cold at night, but the days were magnificent!!!
I'll post some choice pics soon... I charged my camera
And here are a few of the pics... a teaser for your weekend
View from our Ocean Side campsite:
Putting the shade to good use:
Great beach scenes, though no surf and no fish:
Magical weather:
Our youngest has his Learner's licence and this was his first 4WD. The whole weekend he "allowed" me to drive for about 3 minutes!!! He had a ball. Here's a vid of his expert driving... look he can drive and the wheels don't even spin! Now that is talent .
