    day run to ross and locke 2morrow......pics added now!!!!

    i know its late timing but going on a mud mission to ross and locke 2morrow with the boys from opposite lock cairns....if any one is keen we are going about 8.30 am and should be heaps of fun...

    Well once again i put my rig its paces with some wicked 4x4 action...firstly went to a place called Ross and Locke which was rumoured to have some nice mud pits and challenging tracks....it lived up to its name!!!





    some of the pics dont tell the real story of the angles of these drops..!!



    heres my mate Brett ..in the company car..


    bit of a river crossing...as i was shooting video and stills most of the pics are of bretts rig...



    after we had done all the tracks here, we were still keen so we had heard of these tracks at the back of a place called redlynch and for those guys from up north they go around crystal cascades...let me tell you they were wild!!!degree of difficulty out of 10...i would say some spots got a solid 7 add rain and you got yourself 8-9!!







    these tracks were steep and tight and no room to make a mistake









    at the top of the range was a cracking view..









    another quality day ..i bet my truck is glad i go back to the mine this weekend :lol:

              That looks like an old track I use to drive on many moons ago. To give you an idea on the wetness during summer.

              Where you have lifter your rearwheel is a BIG BOG hole during the wet. It is a big deep one that is full of sloppy mud right to the top. It was always a bit tricky as you need to turn as you slipped.

              I have a video of an old cruiser somewhere. I will try and find it
              "Ooops I just deleted the internet, lucky I was able to recover 99.7% of it out of the bin" :lol:
