Hi All,

Well we will be down in Port Stephens again from Xmas day till about the 09 Jan 09. So anyone proposing any day trips around that time in the Hunter region please give me a hoy.

I think we will definately have to do something. We quite often go out to stockton beach for NY's and I have the time off btw xmas & NY so I'll be up for something.

We quite often go out to stockton beach for NY's and I have the time off btw xmas & NY so I'll be up for something.

I just realised since i left the Fire Protection Industry this will be the first time i will not be working either Christmas or New Years in nearly 10 years.

Think i might head up to Mirranie for a few days over that period and test the zook out on a few creeks.

Where is Mirranie, up near branxton?

That's the one. Although i am not sure where your club stands out there at the moment with Lloyd. As far as I am aware a couple of members did some silly things and tore up his paddock doing donuts which he was not to happy about. Not as bad as the dickhead in a Jeep who did the same thing and crashed into the old caravan that sits down near the main camp ground.

will be up there in a few weeks. the only complaint he had of the club was litter in a fireplace, and I'm pretty sure the hoons that were up there were not members of the club. this is what our trip co-ordinator told me.

I couldn't agree more with you on the first paragraph Troy, and yeah I have heard all about this Yowie and seen the photos of the footprints lol. I would love to get up there with a few firearms midweek lol
