1 locker would have been great, but 2 would have been awesome.
only problem was the ground had some traction, but not always.
phil's prado with traction control did well, but this didn't help when you try to climb a clay step.
lockers definately would have meant less winching, but we did ok,
considering we dragged along a standard 90 series.

I tend to recall snaching 120's out of mud holes repeatably, one in particlular, I remember it well because it was afloat in the hole it was stuck in..... Standard 90 did all the obsticles the lifted 120's did, diregarding the winching lol....
Keep it up Jcas24... Im going into Newcastle for repair quotes tomorrow, My rig not only lost the wheel flare, but also sustained substantual body damage. Pushed the whole rear side panel in about 25mm and the tail light now protrudes past the body of the car. (its a bummer) Insurance is good, unfortuantely with a $1800 excess. Was a fun day though.....

Anyone who would like to sell a RHS tail light (main tail light) for 90series, give me a yell.

By the way, two things to mention. Not sure if I was just me as I was the dedicated depth tester, however I have dug out three ticks on my body. Also found a lot of debris caught in the brakes and rotors and also in the bash plates/tank guards. On a positive note, the leech wounds have finally stopped bleeding
          Cheers

I'm sure that tyre on the rear says Grand Crap

Looks like an awesome time with plenty of Farqu Mee moments.

Re: Watagans day trip - Nov 23 - completed

just had a look back at the start of this thread
just need to check 2, maybe 3 tracks.
these will cover most of the day due to their length (tracks).

Grade 3=B Moderate 4WD Trip some recovery/winching/water crossings. Good level of 4WD skills and experience required[quote:3srwygl7]
[quote:3srwygl7]if you do make this run,
we might have a go at the tuff/testing track if time allows.
                      [/quote:3srwygl7][/quote:3srwygl7]
seeing as we ran out of time we may have to head back to the watagans to try the tuff track another day

Every shovel operator requires a supervisor! Check every road gang you pass on the highway ;-) You make a great supervisor Samo!!

What are the 3 parallel logs next to the log crossing? Are they an attempt at a bridge?
