Re: Fri June 19:FNQ-The Arch (Natural Bridge)

Well, it ended up being Kevin and I. We got as far as Collin's weir, were met with a bunch of signs saying private property, so not tempting fate, we left and went with plan B, hill climbs at 7 Hills.

We had a lovely day and got most of the way along a section known as the top track.

The hill climbs are pretty grand on this track, and at this time of year it is a mixture of powder dirt, rubble, washouts and some rock structure. It was a little difficult at times to take photo's but I managed to squeeze a few shots in.

This shot gives some perspective of the hill gradients we were tackling

The view from one of the ridge lines

Just a shot of my rig, seeing as all the other shots are of Kev, why not?

Kev doing a recce on a hill before we start a climb

                Someone need lockers?

                front wheel air time!

Perhaps this is the reason for loss of forward motion? Kev hung up on the rear diff.

Re: Fri June 19:FNQ-The Arch (Natural Bridge)

The hills are definitely more challenging than the usual mud plugging at seven hills.

Definitely on the cards now  especially after the wicked crunching noises coming from the rear LSD. I just need to sneak them paste the board of control.
