Re: WA Report - Mundaring Power Lines Sun 26 July 2009

Hard luck there Speed racer, clean the bus up that way they wont think too much of the damage, then send her in for panel beating. Wait until after Lancelin. At least they should fix your scratches and scraps.... At least your ok, typical Patrol driver :P

As for 64m video, is it worth compressing then posting the zip file for us to download????? That may work but i'm only guessing

RussWA is the director of the WAPPers. his logie winning works have been on many a screen...

      He might know the answer.
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

look at it this way, some of the scratches will now be covered by his insurance - if he rear ended me, i woulda been sorted =)

P.s. anyone particularly handy with cleaning up the video and posting it? I've got most of us going up (sideways) that first chicken track and through a couple of the deeper "puddles" but its 64 meg
If you give me a copy I can edit it no problem, but to get it to me might be the problem as I don't think I can make it on Sunday at this stage.
If it is 64meg its to large to send so I would need a hard copy or usb stick.Pass it to POMP and he can give it to me as I need to catch up with him soon.

dont know if you've considered using windows movie maker? its pretty simply to use for basic editting and you can reduce the quality in order to reduce the size so you upload/post it up. Ive used it previously for editting hours of 4wding footage.

Damn, thats a bit rough Speed Racer!!! MUMSRIG is in the same predicament though if it makes you feel any better. It's up for a new rear bar etc due to a rear ended AGAIN!!

That Power Line track looks like it's getting harder and harder each time I see pics of it!
