  • TRIP REPORT : SEQ Mt Mee Recce report

Well, it's taken a while but here are a couple of pics... not too many as we don't want to give the whole trip away.

First the fearless crew lined up and aired down.

    Then, our first little obstacle.

A quick lineup shot on the trail...

There hasn't been much (any) rain for a while so parts were quite dusty. Thankfully the last couple of days have brought some rain and there's more forecast so that should settle the dust a bit for us.

    View from the lookout.

Wheel placement is so very important

    A dusty descent.

A bit dustier than when we started.

Hopefully we'll see a nice turnout of cars(and families) next Sunday
    Cheers, Leon

Oh, so that's how it's going to be

I take too long for a trip report so you all shun me...
    Cheers, Leon

      Sorry Leon,

I didn't realise you had posted a report! Mate, it was a great day out - I didn't realise how invasive that dust was until I went to fuel up on the weekend and saw what was lining the inside of the fuel door and a peek at the air filter saw me banging a fair amount out. Also, every time I shut the back door another handfull drops out, so hopefully this recent rain has settled the dust for everyone next weekend.

Thanks once again for expert leadership, I learnt a lot in a short time.

      Cheers,

      Dave

Ha ha... yeah, I had a fuel door full of dust as well
One of my colleagues lives off Mt Mee Rd and he's mentioned they have had a nice bit of rain up that way. I'll ask him again tonight what the last couple of days rain has done.
I'd say it'll be just enough to settle the dust without making it a mud bath... is that good or bad
        Cheers, Leon

Great report and photos Leon. We were up at Mt Mee last weekend, but sadly didn't venture too far out :? Would love to join you guys tomorrow, but I've got a 1kg of Wagyu waiting for me at lunch.
