Sorry people but we wont be there either......accounts manager has decided that sailing is the better option for the weekend.

Going to be to hot to cramp her up in a car, the water sounds awesome.

Good call on the temp Pete I had not looked at that, combine that with the last couple of days at work I think I will have to give this a miss now as well. I do not need something else going wrong at the moment. I am sorry guys have a good run and take lots of photo's

MUMSRIG may be able to make it out for a day trip. I shall chat to the heavily pregnant one and see if she's keen....???

We are a no go even for a day trip. Running out of time and have still got way to much to do... Getting the rear yard ready for the shed to be built.... gotta finish off the retaining walls etc..

Hi all,

Just a thought for those of you who are staying with us in York and have kids, what about bringing up a DVD or 2 or 3 because we are not kid equipped these days because ours are all grown up.

Do not worry about folding chairs or anything like that because we have plenty. I am taking some up from our place at Ellenbrook and have hired some to take up as well.

As we know it is going to be hot during the day so we will need to allow for that during the day but it usually cools down quite well in York at night but if needs be you can all bunk down in the studio with the air cond. although you will need to bring along some air mattresses or whatever as the floor is tiled.

Just to add to the above we do also have a couple of lawn areas in the house garden if anyone would like to sleep our under the stars although Gypsy, our German Shepherd will more than likely come around and check you out from time to time. We also have a Gazebo up in the top garden and we also have a cave with it's own waterfall! Difficult to actually describe the cave but you will find out soon enough.

I've had to go back to the lab and the only time I can get a booking on the machines I use is Saturday. So, we can't make the powerlines, but will come up to York around 5pm.

Unfortunately the weather man has said its going to be pretty warm over the weekend and as such, I need to be close to home for anything that crops up
Anyways, I doubt that doing this run in the work rodeo will be as much fun, especially if I need to hi tail it back to Rockingham.

Oh well, Merry Xmas everyone and a prosperous new year and happy birthday to those that have them!

Unfortunatley we are out, I have to work tommorrow as the materials for the job I was on today didnt turn up till lunchtime. Im hoping to get home early enough to make the BBQ but am definatley out of the powerlines run.

I have finally managed to get all my work done and am free for tomorrow. Will be able to make the drive and bbq but will be on my own. Missus is working and both kids horseriding. Judging by the number of people who can't make it, we will be a few short in numbers for the powerlines BUT we will still ahve fun!!!

Great day on the powerlines with an additional side trip.

This is a sample of how serious we "Play", and it does not show how steep the hill was



All this was followed of by a beautiful evening BBQ and birthdy party.

Great pics Trev... Thanks so much to Mike and Mary for opening their house to us all and putting on a fantastic food. Great time was had by all.
If anyone is wondering why Trev has a picture of a log, It is a log that I snagged under my car on one of the water crossings and dragged out much to everyone amusement...
