if the rain does not hit to badly how do you reckon worn grandcraps would go? Not promissing anything but as we have an outing on Saturday night I may be able to earn some brownie points.

Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

I'm sure I saw something about a stock standard prado being required to smooth some tracks...
Gone - 2006 TD Manual - Silver
Current X3 35i (offroad capability limited, but 0-100 in 5.9 seconds...) - no Prados in Canada
Return to Oz, something new and prado like (will miss actual acceleration)

Should be no worries Mike. The exit points from Harvey Dam are all really easily accessible and we're never that far away.
It should be no probs to duck off whenever you need to.
Had some decent heavy falls this morning. I am about an hours drive from the dam so it could have been different up there.

Had a very mixed bag of a day, Helped a mate buy a 150 Went looking at Furniture took longer to get home than expected Pam spent the rest of the afternoon making Lasagna for the evening out only to discover it is next Saturday night.
So now she is moving furniture around and I am trying to stay out of her way
Doesn't look like we will get to make it tomorrow, looking forward to the pics.
As for the furniture shopping loved the Lazy boy chair with the subwoofer in the base, talk about good vibrations

That would be right we don't check in and a trip comes up...
Oh well sorry guys we will be unable to attend. But we are itching to get out on a trip soon.
Maybe next time.
Looking forward to the photo's
Have a GREAT time guys.
Wake up this morning, shower, brekky, kids ready, wife ready for work, go outside to garage, open car, get in, turn key, radio comes on, dash lights, crank engine......... silence.
No prior hints of it giving up. Taking out the mulimeter reveals a cool engine cranking 7.2V which is ideal for the cordless drill I guess but not to wake the Tojo.
The prado's battery has ceased to live. So inspite of everything being ready, the prado wasn't interested in waking up this morning, so naturally, I wasn't able to come to Harvey! (not paying the prices for a battery that the Servo's wanted)
Spose it could've been worse, could''ve happened after lunch in the middle of the bush.
Anyway Guys, I look forward to the photos.. I hope everyone has a great time, especially after yesterdays rain.
Chippy, I sent you an SMS to let you know, hope you got it so you weren't waiting for me.
Waiting in anticipation for the next trip
Terry (with latest Prado improvement - new battery)
