Re: forum meet up in melbourne

Well, well, well... Looks like we're gathering momentum.

Can all those coming please drop me a PM together with your mobile phone number, so I can gather a list of folks coming along, so as to make sure no one gets left behind in case they might be running late or pulling out at the last minute. I'll volunteer to do the head counts...

    Saturday 22nd - 9am - Toolangi Tavern - 1390 Myers Creek Road, Toolangi

I often wondered why you would bother with a tank, as from my calcs you would blow up maybe one tyre (or maybe half a tyre depending how big it is and then you are back to the compressor on its own anyway....
Now if you put a small scuba tank in at 200Bar, you could blow all the tyres up about 10 times over

Re: forum meet up in melbourne

I've done all the mounting for the compressor and tank, now I just have to complete the wiring etc. They reckon a good compressor and tank will work really well. Looks like I'm about to show you........ (and me).

I wanted to get a huge tank etc but it was all about space. The other best space was where the winch is about to go.

Looking forward to seeing how it all goes.
          ...........Heaps of cool stuff

Sounds great! My daughters 5th birthday is on the Sunday so I should be right for the Saturday hopefully. I'll PM my details through and confirm as it gets closer. Might have a neighbour come with his Nissan also, give us something to laugh at!
            Cheers, Mick.

Yep, as far as I'm concerned the trip is still on. No one has bailed out (yet) - 10 cars 'signed up' so far.

I'll be coming from Cranbourne. I'll just be following my hema navigator as I haven't really been up that way before. If anyone's got any ideas to meet up on the way (especially from the south east) then let's hear it.

I'd love to join in but I have a feeling it'll be an absolute mud fest up there. Not really set up for those kind of conditions.
