Well it's Xmas but I still managed to go 4x4ing.. Bent the tip of my exhaust today crossing a deep trench, and had my heart pumping on a very steep logging trail. Sorry, I know this is all very useless without photos.

FAARK minus 1
Wheeny creek was a blast as expected. We didn't finish it, again, and in fact we turned around at the same rock garden we did last time
but it wasn't the weather's fault this time. Scotty snapped his rear most uni-joint in said location. We had to remove his rear prop shaft and he limped home in 4H with the front hubs locked.
Having heard from Ben that the next rock garden along was harder than anything before it, I went on alone to check it out while Nick and Scotty worked to remove the damaged prop shaft. It was pretty gnarly but I made it through the rock garden and turned around after that.
I didn't have to use the winch on the hill I had to last time and I'm well chuffed with that.Last edited by williade; 07-01-2012, 06:31 PM.Declan: 1997 GXL 4.5 Auto 80 series on LPG, ARB bullbar, 2" OME lift, 32" MTZ, GME UHF, rear ARB locker, Kaymar spare wheel carrier

There's a couple spots at Newnes/Zig Zag I'd like to tackle.
Or Sunny Corner if we have a guide.
Or a recce at the Watagans (recce cause I'm not keen on actually hitting the hard stuff ATM).glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90
