Glenn, would love to join you but unfortunately I'll be searching all around for a fuse for the washing machine tomorrow. The darn thing just blow on me and it’s a F3.5A H250V

Yeah mate, I booked it in during the week, for this Sat (tomorrow). If I had left it, then no, whoever is open would be too busy.

        • Hey Glenn,
Maybe we could take a quick run up Chapman Pde on Sunday? It's not very far for us.

Ended up not going as I had to pick up the daughter from work! Looks like you guys enjoyed the Spanish Steps I haven't been there for years; made it up easily in the stock standard Jackeroo I had at the time (took the easier line of course )
                Cheers,

                • Anyone interested in a drive this weekend? I'm thinking Ourimbah for the hard rocky climb (plus exploring) OR explore the region just north of Wisemans Ferry.

I'd be interested in a Saturday trip. I remember Glenn saying most of the tracks in Dharug NP have been gated off now, so there may not be much to explore

Probably Ourimbah unless I can come up with something more interesting......

I was also thinking of the Leets Vale side, a state forest and a conservation area, but not much to be found online so it's probably a lost cause.

                              Hi Glen,

some of the tracks off wheelbarrow ridge road -just after the lower portland bridge (bridge to nowhere)- used to be really good. One got to a rocky creek crossing that I couldn't get past in a GQ SWB with 4"lift and 35's. This was ten years ago though and am unsure if the tracks are still open however. There were quite a few tracks out there though.

                              • Thanks Ben, sounds like it's still worth checking out one day.

Anyway... sorry guys (Chaser in particular), but I'm going to have to change the destination for this Saturday to the south coast; Yalwal. I need to do a recce run down there for an upcoming camp trip. I hope to try out the hardcore Monkey Gum Trail, and have a peek at Six Stager... http://www.4wdaction.com.au/forum/vi...f=180&t=108258

Of course others can still run a trip up north or west if they wish.
