Anyone interested in a possible run this Sunday? (14th)

Early start and finish.

Zig zag? upper Colo? Kurrajong? Heathcote? Somewhere else?

Hard or soft, I just need to run the low range a bit

Wish I could but am tied up for the next few Sundays, December 5th would be the earliest for me.

Would love to, however......mate of mine has just bought a new 150 & wants to try it out this Sunday but because of work he won't be able to leave Cranebrook till around midday & has to be back home by 6pm so he won't have much time out on the tracks.

I suppose if we do go out to either Newnes SF or up Putty rd to Wallaby Swamp he could meet us there. I'll put it to him & see what he says.

I'm new to Sydney and (beleive it or not) haven't done a 4WD trip out here (yet).

So whereever you can recommend really!

Zig Zag is a popular place to start with. Easy, mild, hard and a little extreme.

Great we have 3 vehicles already at short notice

I think we'll head up the putty rd. & do our usual powerlines track as it's easy/medium & I have no idea how much 4wdriving experience you have, also if my mate decides to join us later in the day he'll be able to find us without to much trouble. Newnes State Forest will be very wet & muddy & I would prefer not to go there & tear up more of the tracks like the hoons do unfortunately. Besides there may be rain around over the weekend too.

Now I need to organise a meet up spot; normally we meet way up the Putty Rd at the Ampol garage at Colo Heights but if you're unfamiliar with it we could meet at say Richmond Macca's or even at the Caltex garage at Wilberforce?? Depends where you guys are coming from.

G'day

We would love to go. I haven't been on anything yet with PP's. Can i confirm on sautrday? We are coming down from the Central Coast so don't start to early - the wife gets cranky if she has to get up too early.

Hi Glenn, I think Richmond Macca's would be a good meet up spot. I assume you are refering to Macdonalds on March St? Anything beyond Putty Rd is unfamiliar territory for me. I'm located at Western Sydney.

Is anyone bringing along kids? I have a 4 year old who would love to come along provided there is company for her.

i am free either Sat or Sun, so no worry that I will be in the group.

I am quite new with Sydney also, so I don't have deep idea about the track and locations.

It looks like we will have at least 2 missuses in this trip (one is mine :P ) and one kid, so I think a medium track should be ok for all of us.

I think the leader could give the point of meeting on map by a link, then it should be easier for us to show up there on time.

I haven't got an UHF in my car, but it seems it is not a very big deal now.

I hope this trip will be organized quickly now, my car needs dust and dirt before the Tas trip :P
