    • Hi Glenn. Maybe we could check out the Beecroft fire trail. Your last trip there looked like a blast.

I may be down for this weekend though as the driver's side steering rack boot is leaking. I've ordered new boots, so hopefully I can get them fitted before Sunday.

                        • Well it's almost time to put my recent upgrades to the test (33's, rear locker, ratios).

Declan has mentioned Wheeney Creek, but from memory it's pretty extreme and has NO chicken tracks, so I'd rather leave that for the next hardcore trip (it'd also be nice to have Lyfe along for that one). Another extreme one for later is Ourimbah (the hard climb).

                          For now, I'm thinking either:

Mt Walker: Yeah, we're probably going there a little too often, but it is an awesome climb - and Declan needs to be reminded of what a Prado can do with proper off road tyres!

Newnes S/F: Opposite the lost city is a nice climb full of rock steps. Not as steep as Walker so should be a little easier.

                          When?
                          Nov 19/20 <-- my preference

                          • Nov 19/20 works for me. Saturday is my preference.

I wonder if mastermanoj will have his lift and lockers installed by then.

The climb opposite the lost city could be fun. Its a pity the Newnes power lines track (near Happy Valley) has been graded as that used to be a good challenge. There is also the other power lines track that runs Parallel Glow worm tunnel road, ending near the lost city track.

Glen, you may be keen to try and climb the rock at the top of the climb shown in the my video

Sat 19th is my preference too, done!

Yeah I guess there's a lot to do in the Newnes area, maybe that's the go (but I thought you'd like to see me try lower Walker?).

I wouldn't mind trying the big rock at Newnes but I've heard it's washed/dug out too much, so the step up is enormous. I haven't seen it for over a year.

                              • I'd be keen to revisit Walker. You'd cruise through the section that I got stuck on. I'll give my vote to Walker unless every one else is sick of it.
