How are you for the following weekend? I'd be keen for a Newnes run then.
As long as doesn't kill plans for those wanting to attend Steve's BBQ on Sunday. It will be a busy pradopoint weekend for those attending both!

Yeah for sure. We can push it back to 10/11 Dec if needed, but I doubt many would be interested in this trip, and I figured it would make for good conversation at the BBQ.

What's your solution for the outer CV axle/hub?

          Braddo,
There's no chicken tracks, only hard and harder. It's one track, a dead end with a good view for the few that make it that far.

Erm. I think GH4wd has a wrench I can use.

Maybe I'd better hurry up with the 2" lift and lockers then!

                      • Anyone free on Saturday, December 3rd?
I want to get a trip going to Newnes. It will be medium grade but clearance isn't going to be an issue for stock Prados. There will however be plenty of cross axle action so traction aids such as traction control or a diff lock will help.

I want to revisit the Glowworm Tunnel Rd power lines track to get revenge on this hill.
                        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0t8TjkAKqjA

There is also a hard core hill climb at the base of Happy Valley I would like to have a look at.

I also would like to revisit this trail that splits off the Lost City track.

                        • I'm on call that weekend and there's no reception on the Newnes plateau

Wheeny is delayed till 10/11th but I'm still a bit tempted to organise a hardcore run next Saturday 26th.

I think that would be a grand idea. I'm pretty sure someone else is keen for a drive that day.. Braddo?

We could make it easy/medium-grade day. Although I'll definitely head down the opposing lost city track even if by myself.
