I already have a private trip booked in this weekend, but it may get cancelled if this weather keeps up. If it's cancelled I'll be up for something like Lidsdale/Walker, Sunny Corner or Newnes. So in other words, the worse the weather, the more likely I'm in!!glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

With this kind of weather, expect we will have a really fun weekend together if the trip will be fixed. Im in with any weather condition this Sunday, can't wait to see how KM2 and 2" lift work together.James

Now that's lateral thinking Glen!Originally posted by glen_ep View PostI already have a private trip booked in this weekend, but it may get cancelled if this weather keeps up. Might just go to Newnes State Forest for the day if everyone's happy with that? Wombat holes should be nice & slippery for those who want to try out their new lockers
Weather forecast for Lithgow isn't looking too bad at this point.......Cheers,
Glenn

Looks like there could be a problem if Warragamba Dam overflows; if the bridge at Nth Richmond goes under then we won't be going up Bells line of Rd! That means going up the highway, god knows what the traffic will be like
Will keep an eye on things over the next couple of days...Cheers,
Glenn

Good point Glenn. Maybe we could consider something to the North (Ourimbah or Watagans) or to the South (Meryla or Yawal).Declan: 1997 GXL 4.5 Auto 80 series on LPG, ARB bullbar, 2" OME lift, 32" MTZ, GME UHF, rear ARB locker, Kaymar spare wheel carrier

My Air Locker goes in on the 12th and I will be keen to test it before Easter but won't be free until 31st March/ 1st April. Stilll very keen on the Watagans!

Going to be very wet over the next few days by the looks. I dunno if Newnes is the place to go as the bridge at Nth Richmond may be under water so that means the highway is the only way. That means a chaotic traffic situation I can assure you from previous experience
Thoughts & ideas guys......Cheers,
Glenn

I wouldn't have thought the highway would be so bad... poor weather = less people going out... ??
I know a couple tracks in Jellore SF, with two hardcore climbs, but the number of tracks really doesn't compare to the SF's near Lithgow.Last edited by glen_ep; 01-03-2012, 07:12 PM.glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

When Nth Richmond bridge goes under the only way for folks on the western side of the river to get to Penrith & beyond is go back up to Bell, along Darling Causeway to Mt Vic. & back down the highway.
Been there & done it many years ago, an interesting experience. I reckon the bridge will go under within the next 24 hours
Cheers,
Glenn
