- Stockton obviously
- Mungo Brush (Myall Lakes, Bulahdelah) - big beach of difficult SOFT sand, no dunes and no swimming.
- Seal Rocks - swimming beach on the north side, and beach for driving on the south side (medium sized). No dunes.
- Sandbar/Smiths Lake - ?
- McBrides beach (Forster) - Difficult and steep track down - but short. Beach is small and easy, no swimming.
- And there's heaps more beaches further north.
Alternatively, do some 4x4ing at Palmdale/Ourimbah or the Watagans, then drive out towards the Gosford/Entrance/Newcastle coast afterwards.
Have a look at www.4x4earth.com.au - there's a wealth of tracks listed there!glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

Maps - there's a map shop in Parramatta, other wise try camping shops.
For tracks, try www.4x4earth.com.au - actually, I think they're running a drive in the Watagans this weekend, but it'll be HARD stuffglen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

you could try 9 mile beach which runs from blacksmiths to redhead, sand is very soft 15psi ish or lower, dont need a permit so its a freebee, has to access at Awabakal Ave which is a right turn off the pacific hwy at blacksmiths or Turn right at Ocean Park rd at belmont south and follow it down and turn right onto a gravel rd, has some interesting tracks if you follow it up to redhead, there is an old sand quarry you can have a play in and you can also access it if kalaroo rd belmont north, its not a desegnated entry but locals use it alot. cheers samohad an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

I'll be camping in Turon River National Park this coming weekend, FRI-SUN (19th-21st) with friends/family. The majority of tracks in this region are easy, some medium. If you'd like to join us, express your interest here or PM me.glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

Nothing specific planned, but I do have some time to burn so maybe I'll go for a run in the morning. Meet at richmond maccas at 0830. Destination has changed to Lidsdale sf/mt walker. Expect several river crossings.
