Sliding backwards down a hill with the brakes locked is never nice. Throw in leeches, rain and getting bogged, its going to make an experience you won’t forget in a hurry.

Would you both have made it to the top if you hadn’t caught up to traffic and had to stop?

Well, it was just Glen & I (plus passengers)- we could have done with the winch Phil!

It was wet and muddy and we got stuck for about 2 hours- lucky Glen had the hand winch! We were going up a steep incline and ran into a traffic jam, we slid backwards, then I backed off to the side- BIG MISTAKE!!!

Anyway, with Glen's help we got out and called it a day- next time we head up there, we'll make sure it's dry!

Well it sounds like I missed out on an interesting day to say the least! Bugger!
The mrs spent the morning dealing with a couple of bad prawns eaten the night before, while I was on daddy day care duty. I know where I'd rather have been!

Well SWMBO had a fair bit of momentum, so we would have made the next crest at the very least!

Apparently it got worse further up, but I still had good traction without momentum, so I'm pretty confident mine would have made it. The MT's make a difference, especially at 17 PSI

I agree, fantastic camera work. I'm just amazed that someone with so much talent behind a camera would be so lacking in intelligence to think it'd be a good idea to walk up a friggin hill like that in heat like that.
