Someone has just rear-ended me at a stop sign and i wont find out until tomorrow if I get the car back in time. Hopefully car will be ready for Saturday. Are you thinking of a Saturday run?

    Cheers

    G'day Mark,

I had a trip planned in the capertee area but all the blokes can't make it who it I usually go with. Have had another offer to go moto riding at sunny corner so I might catch you out there eh! Otherwise keen to arrange a proper 4wd day out around this area once I get my lift in a few weeks

    • I'm 80% likely for Sunday... depends if I can replace the LCA bushes in time (so Saturday is definitely out). Out west is fine, such as Newnes, Lidsdale, Sunny, Baal Bone, etc.

How do you ever have the time to work?

You seem to be always either fixing or breaking your Prado!

haha tell me about it! My car is already referred to as my second girlfriend. She's had a good run for many months with minimal maintenance, but demanding some extra affection ATM

              • Well guys my LCA's are finally off, ready for new bushings, so likelyhood of being ready for Sunday has jumped to 95%

vxcruiser08 - Are you out of the game? riding motorbikes instead I suspect?

AK80 & Sako85 - Yes, Sunday is the day! Any preferences for location? I was thinking Lidsdale / Mt Walker, but open options.

Snowman - Sorry I cant do Sat

MDSimpson - Ourimbah wasn't on my agenda for this weekend (because it's lacking nice scenery and rivers), but who knows, it could end up that way. Are you available this Sunday?

I'm not fussed where, just keen to get out. Keep in mind I'm now rocking a standard height GQ with 31" AT's.

I will have a definite answer tomorrow if I can join.

A few guys are heading to the Watagon on Sunday and am thinking of tagging along.
You are all welcome to come.

Should be lots of fun with all the rain around.

What kind of vehicles and tracks are they driving? Is this from another forum?

                        • I met up with these guys at MT Walker once and have joint up with them a few times now.
You may have seen them on my YouTube page.

Normally there is a bit of a mix, Jeeps, Cruisers and Patrols ranging from almost standard to big modifications.
                          Not many with lockers though.

The last outing we had 8 vehicles and almost no issues on the track.
Must admit it was very dry that day.

Not sure what tacks we will be taking on this time but last time they were mostly easy with a few challenging bits now and again.
I think we did the 5 ways, Lemon tree Rd, Greens Break Rd, slippery rock Rd, Prickly Ridge Rd.
but don't quote me on that.
