    NSW: Sunday July 18th: Newnes State Forest

    Another fun trip to our favourite forest All are welcome to attend provided you agree to the disclaimer:

    Meeting at: McDonalds at Richmond, cnr of March & Market Sts. at 7:30am, departing around 7:45 am
    We should be at the Zig Zag railway carpark around 9 to 9:30am & will meet up with JeffH, Simmo67, Dobbo, minh & friend there.

    Bring: Prado, morning tea, lunch, camera, warm clothing, (it'll be cold!), sense of adventure

        Bugger another I cant make Ill be at Mudgee this weekend, hopefully the following weekends we can play in the mud some more. Im waiting to see Glenns hat trick from his last trip to Newnes!!

            No idea ...maybe throw darts at the map :?: I haven't really planned any particular tracks but I think Oscar is wanting mud so we'll do our best to find some for him Would like to check out some tracks we haven't been on before but recce's can be time consuming & unproductive; might leave that till another time when there's only 1 or 2 vehicles on a trip.

            Open to suggestions :!:

                Just reading your other thread with Lidsdale. Would of loved to come. I only got a stock 95 series.
                I will try and make this one. A tad early for a Campbelltown guy.
                Im dying to get my car dirty with some guys from this forum.

                  I might be on (or off) the road again after the 21st, This might be the last trip I'll be forced to sit out. The bul bar is scheduled for painting on the 19th and for fitment on the 21st (my birthday by the way). Lets hope nothing goes wrong. I'm desperate to change from garden dirt to rural dirt.

                          At this point in time the weather forecast for Lithgow this Sunday is for frost followed by a nice sunny day We'll see how it pans out during the week :wink:

                          There's no set itinerary as yet; I think we'll just play it by ear when we meet up as to where we go. There may be some families coming along so will definitely cater for them also. Stacks of sightseeing plus all types of tracks to cover, as always 8)

                            Hi to all have just come back from there today very wet very cold and still a great day. did the black fellows hand trail from the zigzag end and then onto the newnes to see the old stuff. well worth the drive and the FUN!
