  • Stockton - Monday afternoon 5th July

I have a couple of work appointments in Raymond Terrace on Monday the 5th July, should be finished by around 2.30PM.

Thinking that if anyone is interested, might duck over to Stockton for a couple of hours?

Haven't been there for a few years.

Anyone interested in a quicky? Lavis Lane..... run down to the Signa? Silver City..... ?????

Might have to change out of the suite & tie.....

Re: Stockton - Monday afternoon 5th July

Hell, wish I could join you!! Unfortunately I have a Forklift Licencing course to attend. Besides, the rig needs new front shoes on it, waiting for Jax to get back with a quote for a couple of Goodyear Wrangler A/Ts to match the rear.

I will be asking for any experienced Stockton regulars to volunteer a few hours / day to show me and potentially family and friends in their vehicles the ropes so far as Stockton do's, don'ts, hotspots etc in the very near future. Been a LOOOONG time since I hit the beaches and the last time was in a 4.5t truck!

So put me down as one for not joining but one who will be seriously jealous come Monday!

Enjoy, hope the weather is nice for it too!

Aren't they also about to close off Lavis lane for some sort of rehabilitation work?

Stockton was chopped up alot more than my recolection.....and Lavis Lane is a bit of a rollacoster ride.

But always good to air down.

So it looks like access to the Sygna is still open?

sygna hasnt been closed to traffic the 28 years i been comming up here. Was a good arvo trip, lavis was absolutely atrocious, havent seen it that bad for years, very very chopped up and the track over the dunes to the beach was just as bad, we had a drive down to the wreck and had a little play in the dunes on the way back, it was good to meet Signature 35 and huggie lets hope we can make a day of it next time. cheers samo
