Great morning out and good to meet some fellow PPers.

This was my third trip to Mt Mee in the Prado, and each time it's been different. Weather conditions today were definitely the driest and dustiest of the three trips, but being dry meant we could tackle the more interesting tracks without issue. Jacky Creek Rd for instance I've seen in the wet and decided not to tackle, but it was a doddle today.

Here's a few shots I managed to take.

Daniel's 150 VX looking more Dust coloured than Graphite:

Richo takes the harder way down:

Daniel takes the water crossing at a sedate pace:

      Richo takes a bath

      Richo drip drying

      Ron's 90 makes a splash

And finally, the track we took:

Some good images there Dave, thanks for posting. What type of GPS are you using?

A little Garmin Oregon 300. Awesome little portable unit, touch screen, waterproof, goes for about 25hrs on a set of AAs, and runs off USB power in the car. I've loaded a custom map onto it with the Mt Mee trails.

In fact, I'll try to attach it here for those with Garmin GPS units.

Re: Mt Mee Day Trip - July 18th 2010

            Hi Folks

Another great day out, some interesting tracks, interesting Pradopointer's new and old, maybe that should be met before, sorry Gordon. Morning tea on the track and lunch at the Gantry getting to meet new people.

Apparently if you don't have a white Prado with white ARB bar... well then.

            The little track

            Rons 90

            Bobsleds 120

Looking forward to the next trip, south or west of Brisvegas maybe?

            Regards, Richo and Gay

Re: Mt Mee Day Trip - July 18th 2010

Looks like another great day enjoying the trails... not the dustiest I've seen Mt Mee but damn close that's for sure!

As usual, whenever I go to sea with my FIL I spend the day supplying the burley... fresh burley ops:

Sorry about the quality... iPhone images
                  Here's the boat hooked up...

And here's a shot from when we were heading back in... looking through the Gold Coast with Mt Warning far off in the distance.

Managed 3 good sized Teraglin... eaten that night by my wife and FIL a couple of juuust undersized Snapper. A juvenile somethin'or'other... and some others... I'm good with this fishn' jargon huh

Hopefully we'll be able to join you on the next trip out.
                  Cheers, Leon
There's no such thing as a wrong turn... it's just the scenic route!

Looks like everyone was having a good time up there. I happened to be leaving the Gantry as you guys arrived. It was nice to see a few 150's getting dirty and with a few extras added. Nice work. I will check the forum next time to see if pp members are out so I can stop and say hi or even come along for the trip.

                      Hi omr289

Next time you see us stop and introduce yourself, we've met fantastic people on these trips, keep your eye on the Trip Reports, or put up a suggested date and place and I bet you'll get heaps of takers.

                      Regards, Richo and Gay.
