Re: Adelaide - Meet up/BBQ/Picnic lunch

At this point I think we can make most weekends. The only issue I have is my son is on a Cubs camp from 19th to 21st so may or may not be available. Had spoken with Andrew (AJ120) and he indicated he is not avilable 13th-14th or the 28th. Still Goolwa is great fun so thow available dates around and we will see what happens.

      Hi All,

I'll try to get along to a Goolwa Beach run, nice and easy run to cool off - assuming the sun get's here before then, c'mon summer.

Look forward to some dates down the track.

Did Goolwa to Murray Mouth Monday night on sunset.

Didnt drop pressures, a few soft spots but nothing too bad. On the run back stuck near the water and was rock hard.

There was a heap of seals in the mouth frolicking around, pretty entertaining.

Came back Tuesday thru currency creek/ finnis area. There is 3 decent water crossings there at the moment deepest being 600mm Plus. largest is about 80 mtrs wide @ 450mm deep.

No issues in the Prado, but the Subaru forester there was having an issue

The last time I decided not to drop pressures, I got stuck halfway at the entry. Not nice dropping pressures while cars are coming and going.

Can you google map these crossings?

I know this will sound lame but it would be good if some one would send out pms to all of the members in Adelaide. As finding out what is happening isn,t always that easy.Only just caught the Fathersday outing and would have loved to join in.Any way just a thought.

I stumbled upon Fremont Park today and wow, what a great park. There's plenty for the kids to do. There are free BBQ facilities. It's a great park to keep in mind for future non-4wdriving meet up or the next family picnic.
