I don't know the Watagans very well, hardly at all to be truthful. Camo went there for the first time a few months back.

So if there are any others who know the area better feel free to take the lead.

      Drew.

        Watagans

I am in guys just for the day, and will have a tag along Ford courier with me (just finishing putting his winch on. I am not familiar with Cooranbong and I thought the turn off was just near the F3 ramp on Freemans drive. I will be using a hand held UHF so will lock in on channel 28 as you suggest and hopefully find you. If anyone is browsing at the moment, is the road to the camping spot signposted in Cooranbong?

          Hi Jacto
I will PM you my mobile phone no.
There are two turn offs, the one you refer to takes you up past Heaton Lookout. The 2nd is in Cooranbong, on the Morisset side. A Fire Station is on the corner. Think the sign has Martinsville on it.

Jacto, it might be an idea to meet us at the fire station - or the camp ground.

Jacto, to get to the Fire Station go to to the southern end of Cooranbong township (Morrisset end). The fire station is on the edge of town on a corner of the main road & King Rd.
