Barrington Tops trip, 14-15 Aug 2010

Thinking of doing an overnighter up at Barrington next weekend, if anyone wishes to come along.
We will be taking the camper trailer, and ruging up for a cold night and a good camp fire. (and a rum or 3)

It WILL be cold and possibly even snow, but dont let that scare you, a few bags of dry fire wood each and it'll be fine.

come on folks, dont be scared of the cold, should be a good weekend.

The plan is for an easy saturday, set up camp, cook a camp oven roast and have a few brews. Sunday I will be scopeing out some good tracks for the GTG.

I do want to check out Barrington Tops but that weekend just doesn't work for me. make sure you get some 4wding pics!

Leave it with me Glenn, not scared of the cold but we were only talking the other day about opening the camper this weekend if the weather is fine and getting it ready for a couple of weekenders and the GTG.

I reckon Watergauge will be a real day out for the group, we were in there a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't too difficult but it depends on how much rain there has been. The last time we camped there we had multiple winchings on the climb out with the trailer - great fun. If it is out of the question for us to overnight this weekend, we could probably manage a day trip so will let you know.

just about to head off, will probably stay at pole blue to make use of the hut & fire place.

If anyone still wants a day trip on sunday, meet us at pole blue or try us on UHF 16
