For those of you that may head south from Adelaide during the summer, or any other time for that matter, toward Goolwa, Lake Alexandria or Victor Harbour. There is a small family owned business along the way that I thought I might let you know about. I should mention, that in a way I am affliated with them, as the people that own and operate it are my Dad's brother his wife, my Uncle and Aunty! I am not quite sure about whether I'm allowed to plug a business? But thought after reading the Goolwa trip reports (which I unfortunately missed - as I tend to do) that there are a number of us heading in that direction often enough that it was worth mentioning!!!

Located approximately 8km south of Mount Compass and I'd recommend it as a good place for a stop perhaps for a coffee on the way out in the morning, or on the way home to pick up some homemade cheese and have a coffee before the drive back into Adelaide. They have won and placed for numerous awards for their cheeses over the past years, including a few international if a remember correctly! The factory is well setup for an inhouse experience if one chooses to stay for a while.

I don't get out there as much as I would like, both to see family and to pick up some of the cheeses, due to being away so often. Hopefully, that will change! With any luck, if your in the area and have some time, definitely worth a visit. You wont be disappointed...
