Looked like a top day out, fabulous shots of all those stuck Nissans, would have been even bettter to have seen the Prado pulling them out. Wish it would rain here then we could go and play in the mud.

                Hey Stan

The pics look great - now that they are not little red crosses (I was going cross-eyed imagining what you were describing)

Certainly not a trip for the faint hearted or those with an allergy to mud.

                Cheers

Now, the damage for the weekend:

All Carpets are full of water as I stoped in the bog hole...
I was in and out in about 45 seconds, but the moment Prado stopped the water started pouring in...

Idle pooles on the Prado don't like the cold water. One of them is noisy again and needs to be replaced again...

Something wrong with rear gear... Need to go to around 3000rpm to get
                          the car moving backwards....

Playing in mud could be very expensive hobby .

I was using the lockers for the first time since they have been fitted.
You have to learn to enagage them before the obstacle and not under power. The first time I did the opposite - almost on top of the hill while plenty of power applied... (Rear diff still goood and in one piece  )

                            Ouch!

I'm curious about what's up with the rear gear ??

I've finally finished cleaning my bus from last weekend - had to run it up on a ramp so I could get the pressure cleaner underneath - and had a bath in all of the dried mud that was still under there.

I only succeeded in rearranging a couple of the bash plates - at least it's underneath and not nearly as expensive sounding as your dramas.

                            Good luck

                            Cheers

Not sure yet, car booked with Toyota for next Tuesday to have a look...
Look like happening only when drive shaft is wet...
Tried it today and works without any problems... :?
