Con grats on the trip report, excellent stuff! I think it would have been better though if you could have nobbled the bloody Navara, Must be almost embarrasing to admit that a Nissan was the only one to come through unscathed :shock: Those guys in the 9G chamberlain tractors, we ran into a group of them a couple of years ago on the Gibb river road, they were travelling to their annual GTG in Alice springs. Many of them tour all over the country every year, even as far as Perth to Cape york, so one of them told us.

Cant wait for my chance to see the Simpson.

Nice trip AJ,
Almost exactly the same time I was there and included the same areas.
I was also in Birdsville 6th and 7th August... silver prado also covered in mud, but with PP sticker... on camper and car.
We did our trip with camper in tow, so had a bit of fun around Mt Dare area and the big Purnie Bore "Lake".
I'll have some new pics on my build up soon.
