Bring a BBQ if you can and we can grab some snags and sauce,I may have a mate of mine comming with a landcruiser(FATHER OF PRADO), if no one mines, and he also has a BBQ.
There maybe no mobile phone reception once your there so make sure you can get hold of a uhf radio.

            Hey Russ

Bek and the kids aren't going to mind a sleep in or an extra coffee and sundaes at Maccas. I don't think 30 mins is going to be a drama. I also gives Justo a bit more time.

I don't have any dramas with a Landcruiser owner joining the group - I've even spoken to one before and found that they can follow most conversation - as long as I speak slowly and use small words

Landcruisers also come in handy on unknown tracks - you send them first in case there are any hidden dangers

So - snags, buns and maybe some rabbit food. Sounds good.

UHF - in car + 2 x handhelds. As for channel - 16 is a nice number but feel free to pick another.

            Cheers

                    Sunday 24th June

have only just joined but would be interested in joining. Is it generally a family outing or a blokes trip.

                      Hiya Mike

Russ has a a carload - with his wife and kids.
I have the same - wife and 2 or 3 kids (I can never remember how many I've got  ).

I was even going to let Bek do some driving so I could get some action shots - as I didn't get any shots of my bus on the last trip - I was too busy happy snapping everyone else.

You, and family, are more than welcome.

                      Cheers

Thanks Chippy. Thats a pretty amazing avatar. Pity my brain can't process all the shots in time. I do wish I'd joined this site before I spent about an hour trying to undo the radiator from the engine side to put my recovery points in. One look at your Avatar & I would have asked you. Still I know now
                            What the red drill thingy?

She might surprise you Chippy.!! (at how quickly a Prado can sink to its belly in sand) although I have a feeling you might still hold that record. Dont feel bad mate we've all been there done that. And in my case more than once and no doubt it will happen again.!
The real challenge however is how quickly you can recover it without another vehicle.

P.S I reckon I'll be there, the BEAST (or DOZER) will never forgive me if I dont take it out to play with all the other Prado's in the sandpit.!! :x

You might be right - and if you're not I'm still going to have to say how well she drove - or I may not recover from the beating.
