    Perth Hills

    Well it's been a while since my last trip report or even going 4WDriving. I must say we really missed it and had a ball, the old girl is going better than ever and has a few more battle scars on her now. As for 4WDriving over here there is something for everyone, we loved it can't wait to do it again and see more of this beautiful state maybe with a few PPer's hope you enjoy the pics as we had taking them.

    had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

            The track runs from Mundering and follows the powelines out towards York. Well worth a look if you haven't been out there before. I would be keen to head out there for another run sometime myself.

              Would a standard prado do this no sweat? Minimum recommended set-up? Some decent tyres I guess? Would like to tackle these as well...

                I haven't been out there for a few months but I believe the track is getting more and more chopped up. But I'm sure that you would get through with no probs if you take the chicken tracks on the gnarly bits.

                  Hi Guy's thanks for the comments we had a blast, The start of the track was OK Should be no worries in a standard Prado but towards the end heading towards York it gets pretty serious even the chicken tracks has you lifting wheels so you can imagine what the main track is like in a couple of spots . So you would definatly need a lift and some decent tires. Justo maybe a few of us can get together in the new year for a bit of a bash up there or any where

                          I just had a look at my roster and we are available from the 5/01/11 till the 9/01/11 or 25/01/11 till 31/01/10 so if anyone is keen on these dates we can start organising something.
