        yes, thanks Glenn.

I would love to borrow your spare handheld radio one, it will not be only easier for us in that day, but also I want to show what it can work to my missus. She is claiming of the UHF project that I intend to install for my rig.

the weather forecast is for a 'few showers'. should be awesome to get the prado muddy again

                      cheers

                              Trip Report

Another great day out with some of the Pradopoint members Weather today was overcast , warm & humid with a little rain towards the end of the day. Tracks where very wet but we all got through except for one winch recovery being required.

Start of the track, time to air down

Stopped here for morning tea after scaring away the local kangaroos

We then continued along the tracks

We had to take a detour from the track due to a large fallen tree. Unfortunately the detour proved to be very boggy & Fungi2003 became stuck. After a failed snatch recovery we used the winch to extract his vehicle (see video also)

After some more driving we headed back to the main road & aired up

Heading back down the Putty Rd we stopped to view the flooded Colo River, haven't seen it like this for many years

Thanks to everyone for coming along today especially those who travelled long distances. Certainly was a good turn out despite the short notice

                              Video here

                              Cheers, Glenn
