Just got back from a nice 3 day trip at scenic rim, even tho i didnt take the prado i was fairly impressed with the park. camping sites are fairly well cleared and offer stunning views and u even get a glimpse at brisbane if the weather is right. the tracks go from easy to extreme and are graded from green, blue, black, double black, red x and red xx. further track info is on their website. we did all the blue tracks with pretty much standard 4x4s with road tyres with no problem even did a couple black tracks with ease all tho with the recent rainfall they did get pretty hairy at some stages. some of the tracks were closed due to said rain which kinda sucked but there was still lenty of tracks and places to explore. was sad to see a fellow p.p.er get bogged on the supposed 2wd track, but after the recent rainfall it would have been hard even for comp trucks to get through that track as i sank to my knees in the mud..all in all was a good trip and will be going back again

Nice report Wadzy!
I was at that park when it was called CityView Park and the maps were dreadful. So bad that our group ended up on a black when we thought we were on a green. It sounds like the park has improved with new management. That's a good sign. Maybe I'll take another ride down there one day.
Also, I'm looking forward to seeing the pics.
