    NSW: Sunday Jan 23 Newnes/Ben Bullen State Forests

    Another fun trip to our favourite forests We'll start off at the Zig Zag carpark then head through the forest to Blackfellows Hand Rock for a look at the aboriginal hand stencils, then over to the Baal Bone Gap track & climb the mountain. From there we'll probably follow the track west into Ben Bullen SF & Gardens of Stone NP. Haven't been through there for years so the track condition is unknown! Grade is easy/medium for the tracks we did on last years PP trip.

    Meeting at: McDonalds at Richmond, cnr of March & Eastmarket Sts. at 8:30am, departing around 8:45 am http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&bi ... CBoQnwIwAA
    Finishing time is flexible; if you want to leave early it won't be a problem. Usually we go till around 4 or 5pm (or later if someone gets severely stuck :twisted: ).

    Bring: Prado, morning tea, lunch, camera, air compressor/recovery gear if you have it, sense of adventure :!:

    UHF channel 28 This is to avoid the interference from the mines in the area who use ch.16

      If we follow the track all the way through; we come out on the Mudgee rd near the railway level crossing at Ben Bullen; we drove through there coming back from Turon NP the other week :wink:

            I always seem to miss out by a day or two.... i'm back to work Sunday!

              I'll be there guys, sounds like fun, was worried we were going were that patrol was flexing itself at the end of that youtube clip, way out of my leauge, if we were goimg to be doing that I was out. Will let you know about neighbour as soon as possible. Regards Steve M

                          No problem, minimum of 2 vehicles on a trip. Anyway we can check out other tracks in the area with a small no. of vehicles.
