  • NATIONWIDE PRADOPOINT MEET-UP

Chippy is heading to the east coast and there has been some chatter about a big meet up while he's over here.

So how about our first NATIONWIDE PradoPoint meetup?

    Date: 25/26 August 2007.
    Where: Blue Mountains

Matthew (120GXV6) has offered for us to camp on his property at Clarence. (Matthew: I hope you don't mind me making a public announcement.)

We can do some runs around Lithgow, or even out to Kanagara/Kowmong or Jenolan/Oberon.

So who's in? Sounds like a great weekend to meet up and have some fun.

    Drew.

          That's OK Matt

I'm deliberately planning to be there Thursday thru Sunday 'cause I remembered from somewhere that you worked weekends.

What would a trip east be without catching up with you :P

The missus saw the picture of you frollicking in the snow and decided that you were now the highlight of the trip - bugger the Gold Coast and theme parks.

          Cheers
          Chippy

Dam'n if it was a week or so later we could possibly make it. Will be on our way back from our 5 week trip around then.

Actually hoping to have WA & NSW meet up in Litchfield National Park early August with Chippy. Anyone else interested

                Cheers

Couple of months? Ours turns one in a few weeks, and the busyness doesn't stop! I must admit, the first few weeks are hectic like you've never experienced before though.

Best wishes for it all. I've done a lot of stuff in my years on this earth, and NOTHING compares to when my little one came into our world. It's amazing.

                      Cheers,

                      Drew.

                            You're right, mate - decades - plural!!

Best of luck - it's an exciting time.

The best part is that they're not yet old enough to call you an old fart (however that time will eventually come)!

Well - I was confused for a little while, but it is all clear now .

What started as a private invitation has gone national

I will be back from a two week trip to the corner country on around 8th August and will check posts on the meet-up then, and post some directions to my place.

I have a workshop and hoist, so we can check out peoples rigs if we want (and knock off some bits while they're not looking  ).

I will also prepare a camping ground down the back of my place (mow etc) which is far enough away from the house etc that it's just like camping in the wilderness! I'm on 30 acres of bushland, so there is plenty of timber lying around to make a good bonfire and cooking fire (I'll get my tank and hosereel ready as well  ).

My house has a nice big verandah, so there's plenty of shelter if the weather is against us (had around 60 people at lasts year's work christmas party in misty rain!).

And best of all, I live right next to Newnes State Forest where there are plenty of 4WD tracks of all grades!

Look forward to meeting those of you I haven't met yet.
